Hi
We use VSM 4.5.2 to create replicas of our VMware volumes to a remote DR site. VSM appliances are paired.
We did a SRM failover and failback which went fine. 'DR' mode rather than 'Planned Migration' mode.
Reprotect etc. all worked fine.
Now all our VSM replication tasks are invalid as the datastore-id's have changed. So I've deleted the original replication schedules, gone to recreate them but get the following warning\error at the top of the 'Add Replication Schedule' window:
"Volume iqn.2001-05.com.equallogic:0-8a0906-df4eb4806-18e000e7bea4c354-volume1 is already being replicated in replica Volume1-Repl-sched1 (2016-04-26 01:00:01).
If I go ahead and create the schedule, it lets me but when it comes to run time (middle of the night so I don't see it live) the task shows as 'Failed'. VMware shows no snapshot attempts at the VMs on that datastore, and the EQL group manager shows no attempt at replication, failed or otherwise. No errors or warning in group manager event log for that time.
Any ideas what I need to do to reset this?
Obviously the last thing I want to do is zap all existing replicas from the remote site group as I will have TBs of 1s and 0s to replicate again (i have lots of volumes in this state) and the sites are only connected at 100mbps.
Thanks.
